nowlikephotographs review of 'rivers arms'

Weepy naturalism bleeds across the fully realized second full-length by the Austin duo without ever getting too sentimental. It's a miraculous feat, given the nature of their quivering piano-led tracks or the breezy yet nervous string-laden compositions that seem to alternate throughout the disc. They hold their music close to their hearts, but always put the craft before excess - hear this rare achievement for yourself in this week's nowlikephotographs podcast.
